Memory Care Resident hip-hopp

My seniors continue to surprise me with how much fun they add to all their hard work. Hip Hop core strengthening exercises are all the rage as part of my senior health training programs.

Art Programs for Seniors, and Memory Care Residents

These programs are designed to honor, and enlighten the forgotten population of seniors with Alzheimer's disease. The use of vibrant colors stimulate the minds of our seniors, and gives them a sense of purpose as they express themselves through art. Then their art is displayed for them to revisit that special memory of what they created.

Seniors Embark on Challenging Core-Strength Exercises

It’s remarkable the amount of effort senior citizens I train around San Antonio, Texas will put forth toward their physical health, and well being. My seniors never cease to astonish me with their unbelievable feats of strength despite their age, and ailments that may come with it. My “Senior Boot Camp” program is designed to empower seniors, and enrich their quality of life with an incredible workout. My seniors inspire me every day!

With Age Comes Adversity to Conquer

The best way to conquer adversity that comes with age for seniors is exercise. Over time, my repeat seniors I train will leave walkers, canes, and excuses at the door - because of how much better they feel working out on a consistent basis. An exercise many seniors benefit from in particular are my floor activities that are low impact, but high reward. Watch these seniors push through any doubts or reservations, and experience a full body workout.

Strength in Couples

Bill (95) and his wife, MaryAnne (88) keep their inspirational, long-lasting marriage balanced, and healthy by exercising together. It brings me great pleasure to train them, and see their love endure all. A couple that exercises together, stays together!

A Bond Through Resistance

Training senior citizens is my passion, but my true calling is helping those individuals with Alzheimer's disease. My mother lost her battle with this disease, but put into motion my path to specialize in training those like her, Memory Care residents. The mind is a muscle, and through exercise, I help Memory Care individuals build bonds with fellow residents that’ll strengthen their minds while creating friendships.

The Strength of the Irish

Memory Care residents are treated each St. Patrick’s Day to a special performance by my seniors that I train. These performances include festive costumes, and energetic music we exercise to in order to promote fitness. This fun time stimulates their minds, and most importantly, puts a smile on their faces. I take pride in spreading fitness, and Memory Care awareness.

Fitness and Fiesta for Seniors

San Antonio, Texas is known for their Fiesta season, and with help from the seniors I train, we bring the time-honored tradition to our Memory Care residents by performing an energetic fitness routine for them. The fun music, and colorful outfits we wear stimulate their minds as we encourage them to get moving along with us. I am proud to bring out that Texas heritage to them, and inspire them to celebrate what makes our city great.

Seniors Jumping Rope for Hope

Some of the greatest athletes in the world incorporate jumping rope in their training regimen to build up their cardio by getting their heart pumping, and the same can be said for the seniors I train as they defy age by going toe-to-toe with the greats!

Seniors Crab Walking and Jump Roping

The senior citizens I train are willing to put in the work with the right camaraderie, trust, and encouragement from me. There’s being “coachable,” but the best way to coach is to be approachable. I instill in all my seniors that I am there for them, and their fitness needs. I am honored to guide them along their fitness journey, and together, we will succeed!

Reminding Memory Care Residents We’re Thankful

Each Veteran’s Day, I honor Memory Care Residents that served in our military by performing for them a high-energy fitness routine. It’s important to uplift these brave individuals that are courageously facing a new battle against Alzheimer’s disease, and remind them of how grateful we are for their service.

Easter “Funday” for Memory Care Residents

Each and every Easter, I treat my Memory Care residents to an “Eggtravaganza” of a fitness performance that’ll entertain, and get their body moving from their seats. With help from the seniors I train, we come together for our Memory Care residents to inspire fitness, and a healthy well being upon them. I look forward to putting the work in, and breaking a sweat for them to see the happiness we bring them on the Lord’s day.

The Bar Training, No Law School Required

Watch my seniors participate in some low impact fitness training that help strengthen their joints, and elevate their heart beats. I take such great joy in seeing a full room of my seniors come together, and inspire each other to work out.

Seniors, Memory Care Residents and Community Turn Out for Easter Fun with Fitness

We’re taking our fitness outside on this bright day filled with sunshine for an Easter performance from me, and the seniors I train. Together, we promote staying fit, and active by getting some fresh air with our Memory Care residents.

Halloween Fun with Memory Care Residents

Each year, we dress up our Memory Care residents in costumes to celebrate Halloween, and perform for them the treat of fitness. The colorful characters they’re dressed as, and high-energy performance in front of them, stimulates their minds. We try and get them moving in their chairs with our palpable energy.

Memory Care Residents Celebrate Black History Month

Black History Month is a wonderful time to celebrate, and share the African American culture. In the month of February, we take time to bring our diverse culture to the forefront, and perform for our Memory Care residents.

Holiday Cheer Spread to Memory Care Residents

Unfortunately, many of our Memory Care residents are alone for the Christmas holidays, but we try to make it up to them by giving them an entertaining performance. After all, this season is meant to be shared with family, and loved ones. These individuals are like my family, and I care very much for their well being.

Live Music and Performance for Memory Care Residents

During Black History Month, the seniors that I train join me in spreading diversity by performing for Memory Care residents. This time around, we incorporated live music to accompany our workout in front of them.
