In honor of Dear Clara, we share this poem, a heartfelt expression of our appreciation:

A friend so dear, a heart so true,

Your presence a gift, a guiding light too.

Through laughter and tears, you stood by her side,

A constant companion, a source of pride.

You nurtured her dreams, encouraged her soul,

Your support unwavering, making her whole.

Through life's adventures, you shared the way,

Your friendship a treasure, day after day.

Your kindness extended, a loving embrace,

Your presence a comfort, a warm, welcoming space.

In moments of joy, and times of despair,

Your friendship a beacon, beyond compare.

Thank you, dear Clara, for all that you've done,

Your love and support, second to none.

Your legacy lives on, in hearts touched and true,

A testament to friendship, precious and new.

Clara's guidance and support have been instrumental in carrying forward my mother's legacy in numerous ways. She has been a steadfast supporter of the Battle of Flowers Parade, ensuring that my mother's passion for this beloved tradition continues to thrive. Her encouragement and advice have been invaluable as we work to maintain the parade's rich history and ensure its continued success.

In addition to her support for the Battle of Flowers Parade, Clara has been a champion of education and community service. She has been a generous supporter of the scholarship endowment at the University of the Incarnate Word, a cause that was dear to my mother's heart. Clara's belief in the power of education and her commitment to giving back to the community have inspired us to continue our efforts to support students and make a positive impact on our community.

Clara's unwavering love and blessings have been a constant source of strength and inspiration for our family. Her presence in our lives has been a gift, and her legacy will forever be intertwined with that of my beloved mother. We are eternally grateful for her friendship, her guidance, and her unwavering support.
